Situated on the western shore of Budd Inlet, off Cooper Point Road NW at 63rd Avenue NW in Olympia, Washington, the Tamoshan community is home to 92 households. The neighborhood was established in the 1970s and is composed mostly of homeowners. Forested ravines of fir, maple and cedar trees wind throughout the neighborhood. In addition, the Tamoshan Homeowners' Association owns and maintains a private park along Budd Inlet. There is one entrance to the neighborhood, so there is no through traffic. Children can play safely outside and many residents take daily walks along the streets.
